Georgia Matsamaki

Georgia Matsamaki creates images that deal with the experience of loss and the probability of meeting long-lost loves again. In the many-worlds interpretation, there are countless universes, and every possible quantum state occurs in at least one universe. As time and space exist apart from the human mind, Matsamaki seeks the boundaries of this physical world. She searches for interpretations beyond the actual and the imaginary. In this body of work, the structure of a spatiotemporal viewpoint echoes in interpenetrating dimensions and alternative realities.
