About the Artist

Floriana Avellino

Being naturally allergic to labels, Floriana Avellino is inspired by any photographic genre considering each genre a way of interpreting and sharing a personal vision of a specific moment or situation. As an observer, she mixes up with the subject of observation. She builds a bridge between the outer world and other human beings, reflecting inner emotions, hopes and fears we all have in common. Photography always involves self-portraiture, as depicting any subject without revealing something about ourselves is impossible.
